Welcome to Guitar Lessons NYC

My name is Udi Levy, I’m a session guitar player and a teacher located in Brooklyn, New York City. On this website you can learn about my teaching methods as well as my music.

My teaching career goes back to 1997, when I started teaching at Rehavia School of Music in Jerusalem, Israel. I moved to New York in 2005 and continued my musical and teaching journey.

I truly enjoy working closely with all my students; being able to give them structure and helping them reach their goals. Guitar lessons for beginners are available, and it is very important that we build good habits and structure right from the start. I believe in personalized learning, where one size does not fit all, and instead, my method is customized to fit your skills, interests, and needs while keeping all the necessary fundamentals and much-needed theory. Whether you’re a total beginner who has never even held a guitar before or a seasoned player looking to fine-tune your skills, I can help you reach your goals and broaden your horizons.

I offer guitar lessons in two studios in NYC – Manhattan, Midtown, and Prospect Park, Brooklyn. I’d also be happy to come to your home, whether it’s in Williamsburg or Astoria, Park Slope or Upper East Side, Highbridge or West Village, just give me a call and we’ll work out all the details.
