Get to Know the Chord Shapes

Learning new chords throughout the fretboard is really important, as everyone knows.
But do you really know what are you playing?
Each and every finger that you are pressing, including the open strings, of course, should be memorized, including the degree of the chord that is being played.
Is it 3rd? The Root? The 13th? And so on…

Having that information will give you a great advantage if you would like to create more chords with the same shape just by moving one finger.
