Today, I had a few students who were beginners.
I’m always learning a lot from them because I’m reviewing the basics again and again.
What is a basic? Well… plenty of stuff like: major and minor chords, arpeggios, notes on the fretboard, and so on, BUT one thing which is really important are Strums.
A strumming pattern is a rhythmic pattern that we will play over and over in a specific beat.
There are plenty of basic strums out there; you should learn them all and have control of playing them at a slow tempo or fast.
Also, applying the strums to all kinds of songs is something that everyone should work on!
